As developers squeeze every ounce of profit they can out of the Florida landscape, animals like the gopher tortoise, and more than 365 creatures that rely on them, are being driven to extinction. There’s still time to save this species and ultimately ourselves.

Watch the film. Spread the word. Make the change.

SUPPORT THE REFORM BILL

The FWC Reform Bill (HJR 1625) is already moving through the Florida Legislature! We need everyone to call their representative ASAP and tell them you want the bill passed. And the more people who call Rep. Botana, the better since he’s necessary to get a vote on the bill. Feel free to use and share these graphics below to help mobilize all Floridians!

SIGN THE PETITION

We’ve worked hard to draft a petition directed at the Florida Legislature pressuring them to enact reform for the FWC. With enough support, we can convince them to remove the conflicts of interest, require qualifications for commissioners, and enforce a code of ethics.

If we don’t fix the organization that we’ve entrusted the care of our natural resources, we will fail to protect this species, hundreds of others, and their habitats.

If you want to print this graphic as a flyer to post around your county, please email gophergamesfilm@gmail.com or right click, save as on the photo.
